NEW OPENING HOURS:

Dear Patients

Due to essential administrative requirements the practice has had to adjust our current opening hours. The new hours as follows will take effect from Monday 31st October 2016.

Open: 8.30am - 1pm

Closed: 1pm - 2pm

Open: 2pm - 5.30pm.

The practice will be contactable by phone from 8am - 6pm.

Please note: During the times of 8am - 9am, 1pm - 2pm & 5.30pm - 6pm, the practice will take EMERGENCY CALLS only. (If you ring during these times & your condition is not an emergency, we will politely ask you to contact us back during the times stipulated)

PRESCRIPTION LINE OPENING HOURS

The prescription line will be open during the following hours:

9am - 12pm

2pm - 3.00pm

At present only 18% of patients on repeat medication are signed up online. We would like to encourage patients to sign up to online prescription ordering.  Ordering online is quick and convenient not only to you as a patient but also to our staff processing the prescription.  If you have access to a computer, please consider this. It will free up the dedicated prescription line, leaving it easier for those with no access to a computer to get through. Please see information on how you can do this under 'Prescriptions' heading on our home page.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

MISSED APPOINTMENTS!!

Please make sure that you attend all booked appointments with the GP.  Missed appointments cause unnecessary delays for other patients who need to see a doctor.  It will only take 2 minutes of your time to cancel your appointment if you don't need it.  This can be done on the telephone or via this website.  Cancelling unwanted appointments will help us provide a better service for all our patients!

NEW SERVICE - Mental Health Practitioner

We are pleased to let patients know that we now have a Senior Mental Health Practitioner working within the practice as part of our Primary Care Multidisciplinary Team.

The new service provides patients with direct access to specialist mental health support here in the practice.  Our Mental Health Practitioner can assess your needs, offer advice and short-term support, and help make sure you are directed to the most appropriate service where further support is needed.

 The service can help with:

  • Assessment of mental health and emotional wellbeing concerns
  • Advice and brief, short-term interventions
  • Support with managing mental health difficulties
  • Assessment and management of risk where appropriate
  • Signposting and referral to other suitable services
  • Helping patients access the right level of support for their needs

If you feel you would benefit from seeing our Mental Health Practitioner, please contact the practice and speak to a member of our Reception/Care Navigation Team, who can advise you about the service and arrange an appointment if appropriate.
