NEW OPENING HOURS:
Due to essential administrative requirements the practice has had to adjust our current opening hours. The new hours as follows will take effect from Monday 31st October 2016.
Open: 8.30am - 1pm
Closed: 1pm - 2pm
Open: 2pm - 5.30pm.
The practice will be contactable by phone from 8am - 6pm.
Please note: During the times of 8am - 9am, 1pm - 2pm & 5.30pm - 6pm, the practice will take EMERGENCY CALLS only. (If you ring during these times & your condition is not an emergency, we will politely ask you to contact us back during the times stipulated)
PRESCRIPTION LINE OPENING HOURS
The prescription line will be open during the following hours:
9am - 12pm
2pm - 3.00pm
At present only 18% of patients on repeat medication are signed up online. We would like to encourage patients to sign up to online prescription ordering. Ordering online is quick and convenient not only to you as a patient but also to our staff processing the prescription. If you have access to a computer, please consider this. It will free up the dedicated prescription line, leaving it easier for those with no access to a computer to get through. Please see information on how you can do this under 'Prescriptions' heading on our home page.

Please make sure that you attend all booked appointments with the GP. Missed appointments cause unnecessary delays for other patients who need to see a doctor. It will only take 2 minutes of your time to cancel your appointment if you don't need it. This can be done on the telephone or via this website. Cancelling unwanted appointments will help us provide a better service for all our patients!

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Assistant Practice Manager
In the absence of the Practice Manager, any queries, comments or suggestions can be directed to the Assistant Practice Manager.
The reception/administration staff assists in the efficient day to day running of the Practice and support the services we provide. Our receptionists are here to help you make appointments, deal with any queries and organise your repeat prescriptions. They may need to ask you further details about yourself or your illness. This is to ensure we can assist you as speedily as possible. They are not being deliberately intrusive, and are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses. Strict confidentiality is maintained by all staff on any matter relating to the health of our patients at all times. Reception staff are here to help you, but the job is very demanding and they are often very busy so we would ask you to please be patient.
