NEW OPENING HOURS:

Dear Patients

Due to essential administrative requirements the practice has had to adjust our current opening hours. The new hours as follows will take effect from Monday 31st October 2016.

Open: 8.30am - 1pm

Closed: 1pm - 2pm

Open: 2pm - 5.30pm.

The practice will be contactable by phone from 8am - 6pm.

Please note: During the times of 8am - 9am, 1pm - 2pm & 5.30pm - 6pm, the practice will take EMERGENCY CALLS only. (If you ring during these times & your condition is not an emergency, we will politely ask you to contact us back during the times stipulated)

PRESCRIPTION LINE OPENING HOURS

The prescription line will be open during the following hours:

9am - 12pm

2pm - 3.00pm

At present only 18% of patients on repeat medication are signed up online. We would like to encourage patients to sign up to online prescription ordering.  Ordering online is quick and convenient not only to you as a patient but also to our staff processing the prescription.  If you have access to a computer, please consider this. It will free up the dedicated prescription line, leaving it easier for those with no access to a computer to get through. Please see information on how you can do this under 'Prescriptions' heading on our home page.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

MISSED APPOINTMENTS!!

Please make sure that you attend all booked appointments with the GP.  Missed appointments cause unnecessary delays for other patients who need to see a doctor.  It will only take 2 minutes of your time to cancel your appointment if you don't need it.  This can be done on the telephone or via this website.  Cancelling unwanted appointments will help us provide a better service for all our patients!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE!

DISRUPTION TO SERVICES ON THURSDAY 15TH AUGUST 2024.

Dear Patients

Please note that there will be a disruption to our services on the afternoon of Thursday 15th August 2024, between 3.30pm - 4.30pm.  This is due to a necessary and essential upgrade of our computers.   Unfortunately, during this time, we will not have the ability to access any patient information via medical records, or print prescriptions.  Our phoneline will operate as normal for any extremely urgent medical issues that cannot wait until we regain normal function of our system, or until the following day.  

In the event of a medical emergency during these times, such as chest pain or collapse, please ring 999.

AccuRx Texting & Video Consultation Service

AccuRx is a new secure web based service we are using to assist us if we need to contact you. AccuRx enables us to send a text message to you directly from a member of the practice to the mobile number held on your individual medical record. This provides instant communication from the clinical or administrative team straight to our patients.  A copy of this text is automatically retained in your notes.  Our clinical team are now also able to carry out a consultation with you via video.  A link will be sent to your mobile phone to enable you to connect to the secure online video consultation. 

The practice name will always be at the bottom of the message when we are sending you information or links.
